We want The Little Haiti Cultural & Business District, to reflect the excellence, vibrancy, and spirit of the entrepreneurs and citizens who people the community. In essence, we want to make Little Haiti look like Little Haiti; reflecting its West Indian culture while highlighting its unique businesses and products.

Build it.

Besides making aesthetic changes, we want to help Little Haiti’s businesses survive and thrive. We will hold a three-day small business seminar to equip and motivate business owners to make the changes necessary to compete and coexist with emerging businesses in what is becoming a “New Brooklyn.”

The goals of this project are: • Increased store traffic and sales • Increased property values • Boost tourism • Stimulate the local economy • Contribute to the longevity of local small businesses • Beautify the community • Present a cohesive image of Little Haiti • Promote Caribbean art and culture
