Our motto, “revolutionary since 1804” means that the same revolutionary spirit that gained Haiti its independence in 1804 is necessary to advance Haiti in the 21st century. INT-Haiti is dedicated to developing no-excuse, change agents throughout Haiti and its Diaspora who will to help liberate this nation from poverty, violence and foreign dependence.

INT Basic Leadership Course

OVERVIEW

The Basic Leadership Course provides an understanding of Transformational Leadership, the duties and qualities of a change agent, the tools tap into Divine purpose.

The course is divided into two or three segments to enable the participants gain a clear understanding of Haitian history and the principles required to build great institutions or great nations.

OBJECTIVES:

1. To understand the prevalent leadership paradigm of most Haitian political leaders and why their success was marginal

2. To grasp the origin of vision and dreams of nations liberating/founding fathers;

3. To understand the Good-To-Great model of achieving spectacular results at individual, organizational, community, or national level

4. Introduction to seven spheres of influence in the society: education, politics, business, media, arts, culture, etc

5. How to identify and package their passion and interests towards nation building.

Oak Seed Executive Leadership Course

Oak Seed Executive Leadership Course (OSELC) is a six-modular course with 30 lectures designed to equip one for transformational leadership. Participants read 5 required books, watch documentaries, movies, and conduct many case studies, all leading to packaging a personal and group project for actual involvement in societal transformation. Classes are held twice monthly. This an advanced course requires and analytical and written and verbal communication skills.

OBJECTIVES:

1. To examine leadership paradigms and their consequences

2. To examine different models of nation building principles and from that, understand what Haiti can do to develop in this season

3. To delve into the characteristics of transformational leaders and the soft skills they must develop to be effective

4. To design a personal and a group project for individual and collective expression of lessons learned, and way forward for actual involvement in societal transformation.

Government, Governance, Responsibility And Accountability Program (GGRAP)

Pre-requisite: Oak Seed Executive Leadership Course

OBJECTIVES:

1. To understand the roles of Government, community and Not-for-Profit organizations in shaping and sustaining societies

2. To understand the factors that create a transformational progressive and inclusive society

3. To understand the difference between Transactional and Transformational leadership mindsets

4. To demonstrate how Transformational leadership can be developed intentionally

5. To understand that perceptions and values determine the prosperity of a nation

6. To learn how to use the principles of advocacy and lobbying for positive impact

Biznis Pa Nou-Business Development Program

Pre-requisite INT Basic or Oak Seed Executive Leadership Course

OBJECTIVES:

1. Learn the best practices for doing business in Haiti

2. Identify key Haitian industries and explore local markets for Haitian made products and services

3. Explore international markets (with a focus on the African diaspora) for Haitian products and services

4. Understand Opportunity Based Economic Development (OBED) principles as outlined in From Aid to Trade by Daniel Jean-Louis.

5. Create a cooperate business project, putting in to practice skills obtained in this and previous courses
